Welcome to 2026!
As we stepped into the new year, we found ourselves both grateful and deeply encouraged by what we’re seeing emerge across our community.
Back in March of 2025 (last year, wow!), we surveyed our community, asking what resources would be most helpful to them.
The number one request was this: Over half of respondents asked for resources to help them provide soul care to others.
People are not just desiring soul care... they are anxious to offer it to their circles.
As a result, one of the shifts for us this year is a focus on resourcing this incredible, global community for the care they’re already providing, to friends, families, teams, churches, and neighborhoods.
Another common theme we heard was the longing for more in-person connection.
That’s why our first large venture into this space this year was to expand our Annual New Year’s Day Semi-Silent Retreat. This time, the vision wasn’t simply to host our own event, but to inspire and equip NYD retreats in homes, offices, churches, and parks around the world.
And WOW did our community respond! Beyond the 100+ of you who joined us on Zoom in the morning of Jan 1st, over 300 people let us know they were interested in hosting their own retreat. And this time, our entire mailing list received the retreat guide!
We heard from groups gathering in South Africa, Switzerland, and across the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.—pastors and staff with Cru, Youth for Christ, One Collective, and many more.
One host shared this reflection:
"It was really a joy hosting the New Year Semi Silent retreat. I loved inviting friends into this experience with me. A local church opened up several of their rooms for us to use. I found it easy to host and did not feel stressful. I had a couple of friends help, one with the snacks and drinks and one with helping set up the facility. My prayer for our time together was really that everyone would come with a sense of expectation and wonder.
We broke up into a few small groups at the beginning to check in and share expectations. After our silent reflection time we gathered again for a debrief. People were amazingly vulnerable and real. I found that I love preparing space for people to meet with God and care for their souls. I am grateful for the opportunity to gather in person and we hope to do more of these types of retreats on a regular basis."

As we begin this year, we’re launching a new initiative.
Happy New Year from the Soul Care team!

As you step into a new year, one question remains:
What will last? What will carry you through the whole year?
Most of us don’t lack desire. We lack structure. What isn’t protected on the calendar rarely lasts.
Soul Care Rhythms is our year-round membership designed to give you something steady to return to: weekly guided check-ins, monthly semi-silent retreats, quarterly spiritual direction, and a yearly planning guide to help you discern what your soul needs next.
To mark the launch, new members can join at our lowest rate ever:
$45/month or $450/year (first-year offer).
If you’re ready for a different kind of year, one shaped by intentional rhythms rather than survival, we’d love to walk with you.
